got on a plane to california over the summer for the sole purpose of uttering the following phrase a few million times: this is the first time i’ve been out of new york in two years
and it occurs to me that the entire focus of this page has become a bit “ALL PANDEMIC ALL THE TIME” so i’m not going to make too much of this fact, except to say that it was interesting to note.
at the risk of sounding corny, it of course had to be me running back to california for the first time that i got to get out of here for a bit; it’s always been a bit of a second home.
and this time i decided to see the entire damn thing (san diego, los angeles, bay area). because i had no idea when was the next time i would be let out of noo yawk.
felt good to stretch my legs somewhere else. see my loved ones. take pictures of other buildings.
might have made it a bit too frantic, though. too many locations, not enough time. i’m bad at taking time off.
next time i think i’m just picking one city and bumming around for the entire time. and more time in that “entire time”.
but still: beautiful as always. and always great to see everyone i’ve been disconnected from by this… “thing” still doing so well. great, even.
this isn’t even all of the pictures, honestly. a lot more left on other cameras, so a lot more for me to get developed. but i had some time to myself finally and, well, here you go.
