oh! but… this here photo/”what am i doing?” series… i suppose i should say what it is i’m doing.
i’m currently working on this written (video, maybe? dunno…) piece about that whole rap beef that somehow enraptured the entire world last year.
i joked on a work call that i remember a time when people thought rap was a “fad”, i’m that old. as if hip-hop was something that folks would be talking about in the late 80s like “hey, remember that one time when people rhythmically talked to a beat? crazy times…”. and now you could argue that a rap beef was one of the cultural markers of 2024.
ha. life’s funny.
a definitely written piece that i’m working on is about everybody’s favorite punching bag: news reporting. and what i almost feel is its capacity for… “reaction farming”, i guess?
i really hope i get that done. it’s hard to feel “just so” on my writing. i’ve made more peace with my photography.
anyway anyway… i’m going to go take a morning disco nap before i workout and grub. be well, and let’s do this again sometime.
