“the long way back”
hitting a lot of weird dead ends lately, post (i hope) sickness.
meaning that a lot of things are getting started, but they’re not exactly going anywhere, either. which is a bummer. felt like i was hitting a good clip… and now i’m not.
ok, that’s harsh. and dramatic. true, i did have whatever plague seems to be going around, and it’s a persistent one. but i’m still typing away, still getting up various forms of media and all that good stuff.
i just feel like i keep hitting that “huh… what do i do… next?” thing.
“where is this piece of writing going?”, “what pics do i even want to go after next?”, “where the heck is this project going?”
you know: all that shit.
maybe that’s why i chose to “cut in line” a bit with this latest “sleeping in the office”. meaning that have more of these in the pipeline that i wanted to show, but i decided to put up the latest pics that i worked on just to… have something out there? to let the blahs know that they’re not winning?
i’m happy with these. as usual, just some pics around the neighborhood with the ol’ canon eos m200. some developing in lightroom. something to keep working on the technique and editing. something to momentarily forget all the creative block. tee hee.
and with that… back to seeing if i can salvage or wistfully scrap some recorded video. it’s not looking good, but… miracles happen…
