I guess the thing to get out of the way is: How was it? 

It was very good. I like knowing that there was a world before Mamet went insane and he was actually economical with words. Economical with scenes and intent.

And now he’s…… him.

(By the way, going into this, I will assume that you’ve seen either the play or the movie. Or that you don’t mind having some major plot points revealed. It’s going to be too hard to talk about it if I can’t yap about that stuff openly. You’ve been warned.)

Also: Spoilers. “ABC” is not from the play. It’s specifically from the movie. Just… “managing expectations”. But we’ll swing back to all that later.

So, the actors… the two who really “knew the assignment” to me were Bob Odenkirk and Bill Burr. And for slightly different reasons.
